YSRCP says Naidu blocked social accounts on DSC 2025 row; demands CBI probe and Lokesh resignation

The YSR Congress Party on Sunday, 6 September 2026, accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of blocking social media accounts that were exposing alleged irregularities in DSC 2025, calling the attitude dictatorial and saying the move itself confirmed wrongdoing. The Political card is an opposition demand day — Meta restoration, legal aid, CBI probe, and a resignation call against Education Minister Nara Lokesh — not a finished court finding on every sports-quota or TET allegation.
Official spokesperson Putta Siva Shankar, speaking at the Tadepalli central office, said the Cyber Crime Wing had complained to Meta and that blocks had hit pages linked to a party-aligned media group as well as party and sympathisers’ Facebook and Instagram accounts. He said the party would tell Meta and work to restore accounts, and would extend legal aid to influencers. Allegations locked in the tip include jobs without mandatory TET, a sports-quota sham with audio leaks on price, and participation certificates of obscure games preferred over national players. Those claims remain opposition allegations until investigation files say otherwise.
At Rajahmundry, Youth Wing President Jakkampudi Raja said the party had strong proofs, that there were no answers to questions raised by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and that the party demanded a CBI probe plus the resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh. He compared Village and Ward Secretariat recruitments under the previous government as fault-free. Must-cover names in this cutting are Nara Lokesh and Chief Minister Naidu; both appear in the locked Sunday statements. The dual-stage day — Tadepalli for the Meta narrative, Rajahmundry for the resignation demand — is how the opposition tried to keep DSC 2025 in the week’s political weather.
Political desks should keep allegation markers on every contested claim. Social-block politics turns platform moderation into a floor issue; it does not by itself prove the underlying recruitment charges. Teachers, aspirants and parents already following Mega DSC arguments will hear the resignation call as escalation, not as evidence. This cutting does not invent Meta ticket numbers, the text of the Cyber Crime complaint, or a CBI FIR number. It records the Tadepalli and Rajahmundry stages, the block narrative, the TET and sports-quota allegations as opposition claims, and the twin demands of CBI and Lokesh’s resignation. Readers should refuse any invented clean chit or conviction before investigation files exist.
Opposition recruitment politics in Andhra now runs on two tracks at once: the content of DSC 2025 allegations and the claim that platforms were pressed to mute those allegations. Tadepalli carried the Meta and legal-aid line; Rajahmundry carried the CBI-and-resignation line aimed at Education Minister Nara Lokesh while naming Chief Minister Naidu as the blocker. Hold both stages as Sunday politics. Refuse invented audio transcripts, sports-certificate serial numbers, or a Meta transparency report that the tip does not contain.
