The Trust chief executive puts ₹2,840 crore on the table and denies 18-month salary dues; Harish Rao’s ₹1,400 crore hospital-arrears charge is left standing as an allegation.

The Trust chief executive puts ₹2,840 crore on the table and denies 18-month salary dues; Harish Rao’s ₹1,400 crore hospital-arrears charge is left standing as an allegation.

Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust chief executive Jendage Hanumanth Kondiba said on Sunday, 23 August 2026, that payments to government and private network hospitals are being made regularly and that there are no pending salary dues to Trust employees. The statement answers a Sunday allegation by Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and former minister T. Harish Rao of Siddipet. This desk will record both ledgers. It will not split the difference.

On the chief executive’s figures, ₹2,840 crore was paid toward Aarogyasri claims to government and private network hospitals between 8 December 2023 and 23 August 2026. The average in that period is about ₹88 crore a month, against about ₹54 crore a month before December 2023. ₹2,840 crore, about ₹88 crore and about ₹54 crore are Trust figures on the Sunday statement. They are not Harish Rao’s figures.

The chief executive said salaries had been paid to Trust employees up to July 2026 and that no salary payments were pending at present. The annual free-treatment limit was raised from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh in December 2023. In 2024, package rates for 1,375 treatments were revised, up about 22 per cent; 163 treatments were added, taking the total covered treatments to 1,835. Additional allocation is ₹487.29 crore. ₹5 lakh, ₹10 lakh, 1,375, about 22 per cent, 163, 1,835 and ₹487.29 crore are the chief executive’s scheme lines. This desk will not invent an enrolment headcount or a hospital-wise arrears table the statement does not lock.

Harish Rao alleged that the government was diluting Aarogyasri, that Trust staff salaries had been pending 18 months, that around ₹24 crore was pending for Aarogyasri, and that hospitals had outstanding dues of around ₹1,400 crore. The chief executive denied the salary-dues allegation. Around ₹1,400 crore hospital dues remains Harish Rao’s figure. It is not a Trust admission. Around ₹24 crore pending for Aarogyasri remains his allegation. Eighteen months of salary dues remains his allegation; the Trust line is paid till July 2026. This desk will not average ₹2,840 crore and ₹1,400 crore into one invented arrears number.

The conflict stands as printed. A Trust payment total and an Opposition arrears charge can sit on the same scheme without becoming the same sum. This cutting is distinct from the already-shipped Employees Health Scheme guidelines card.

Hyderabad’s Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust is the geography. Form B and any civic-poll date are not notified on a health-trust cutting. This desk will not invent a hospital name-list, a recovered-arrears column, or a second English desk’s confirmation of the chief executive’s rupee lines beyond the Sunday statement already locked.

Until a published Trust ledger or a legislative reply writes one number both sides accept, the public ledger is a Sunday chief-executive statement of ₹2,840 crore paid from 8 December 2023 to 23 August 2026, about ₹88 crore a month against about ₹54 crore earlier, salaries paid till July 2026, a family limit of ₹10 lakh from ₹5 lakh, 1,835 treatments after a 2024 revision of 1,375 packages by about 22 per cent and 163 additions, extra allocation of ₹487.29 crore, and Harish Rao’s standing allegations of around ₹1,400 crore hospital dues, around ₹24 crore pending and 18-month salary dues. Every rupee stays labelled as to who said it.
