Two days after the Anjaiah Nagar collapse, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation on Monday, 24 August 2026, put a new official count on unauthorised under-construction buildings and said demolitions in the named categories would be watched daily from that Monday. This cutting is the Monday drive and the Monday tally. It is not a rewrite of the Saturday collapse, of the custody of Syed Sajid, or of the suspension of Town Planning Building Officer U. Santosh Kumar, all already shipped on earlier cards. Adjacent-building demolition at the collapse site is context only. It is not the hook.

Commissioner G. Srijana directed town-planning and enforcement teams to identify and demolish specified unauthorised under-construction buildings. Daily monitoring of demolitions in these categories starts from Monday. The criteria in the Corporation press statement are two. First: under-construction buildings on plots below 75 square yards where height exceeds 7 metres. Second: buildings on plots above 75 square yards constructed without any building permission, irrespective of height. Cases may arrive through citizen complaints or suo motu field detection. Seventy-five square yards and 7 metres are the cut-offs on that statement. This desk will not invent a third criterion or a ward-wise target the statement does not lock.

The Commissioner said inspections would cover all such buildings, not only those around the collapsed structure in Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli. Demolitions are in coordination with the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency. Officials noted unauthorised structures on nalas. In Kukatpally Zone, demolitions were reported at LIG-532, 7th Phase, Kukatpally Housing Board. That is a named site on the Monday cards. This desk will not invent a second Kukatpally address.

Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency Commissioner A.V. Ranganath and Kukatpally Zonal Commissioner Mayank Singh toured the collapse site on Monday. Contractor Khaja Moinuddin remains untraced on the opened Monday cards. Untraced is the verb. Arrested is not. This desk will not treat the contractor as in custody.

Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is the authority. It is not the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Anjaiah Nagar, Gachibowli, is the collapse geography that triggered the Monday count; the drive is written as city-wide for the named categories. Form B and any Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation or Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation poll date are not notified.
