Booth-level officers begin a delayed door-to-door Special Intensive Revision notice run — 92.87 lakh electors, after the 18 August start slipped.

Booth-level officers on Monday, 24 August 2026, began a delayed door-to-door run of Special Intensive Revision notices across Telangana. Distribution that was due the day after the 17 August draft roll — 18 August — had slipped. Notices to electors tagged under anomalies and un-mapping now go out in a phased manner, house to house. A delayed start is not a cancelled revision. It is the Monday fact on this card.
The statewide notice pool, as given by the Chief Electoral Officer on draft-roll day and restated on 24 August desks, is 92,87,577 electors — 92.87 lakh on rounded public accounts. The split is 60,50,918 electors tagged for anomalies or logical discrepancies, and 32,36,659 electors unmapped to the 2002 Special Intensive Revision. Rounded public accounts print 60.51 lakh and 32.36 lakh for those two legs. This desk will keep the full numerals and the rounded lakh forms together. It will not invent a district table the statewide lock does not carry.
Public cards spell the Chief Electoral Officer as C. Sudharsan Reddy, C. Sudarshan Reddy and C. Sudharshan Reddy. This desk records the spelling conflict and will not pick one silently.
The claims and objections window runs from 17 August to 16 September 2026. The notice and disposal phase runs through 15 October 2026. The final electoral roll is scheduled for 19 October 2026. Electors may reply through a booth-level officer, an assistant electoral registration officer or an electoral registration officer. An electoral registration officer may summon a hearing. Sixteen September is a Special Intensive Revision roll date. It is not a local-body Form B last date. Nineteen October is a final-roll date. It is not a civic-poll date.
The 17 August draft roll included 2,64,87,213 electors — 78.3 per cent of 3,38,26,448 on the 2025 roll. Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate deletions were 73,39,235, or 21.7 per cent. Those figures are draft-day numbers. They are not a 24 August revision of the draft. This cutting is distinct from the already-shipped Jubilee Hills constituency table. The news here is the statewide booth-level-officer notice start on 24 August after the delay.
Form B has not been notified. The Telangana State Election Commission has not notified Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation or Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation poll dates. This desk will not print a nomination date or a polling date. Claims closing on 16 September must not be read as a Form B last date.
Telangana is the geography. The door-to-door notice run continues on the 25 August paper. Until the notice phase writes disposals and the 19 October final roll appears, the public ledger is a Monday start after an 18 August slip, 92,87,577 electors in the notice pool, 60,50,918 on the anomaly leg, 32,36,659 unmapped to 2002, a claims window to 16 September, notice disposal through 15 October, a final roll on 19 October, draft-day inclusion of 2,64,87,213 and draft-day deletions of 73,39,235, and a Chief Electoral Officer name spelled three ways. No Form B. No civic-poll date.
