Two 21 August government orders park land and tailor-made incentives for data centres at Jagnadhapuram and Makavaripalem. They are orders, not commissioned megawatts.

Public reporting on Monday, 24 August 2026, set out Andhra Pradesh government approval of land allotment and tailor-made incentives for two major data-centre projects in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts, with a combined proposed investment of ₹1.44 lakh crore and total capacity of 1,486 MW. The approvals are through separate Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department government orders dated 21 August, for Data Centre Holdings India LLP and Renew AP Green Data Center Private Limited, under the Andhra Pradesh Data Centre Policy (4.0) 2024-29. Investments exceeding ₹5,000 crore and capacity above 50 MW are treated as mega projects eligible for tailor-made incentives. Andhra Pradesh Technology Services and the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation were directed to implement. ₹1.44 lakh crore and 1,486 MW are proposed combined figures in those orders as reported. They are not a commissioned-capacity gazette.

The Visakhapatnam project, Data Centre Holdings India LLP, is reported at a proposed investment of ₹58,743 crore, capacity 486 MW, and an employment commitment of 1,250 jobs, on 200 acres at Jagnadhapuram in Anandapuram mandal. Land is at a 25 per cent discount on Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation cost, subject to a cap of ₹30 crore. Incentives as reported include a 10 per cent capital subsidy on machinery and equipment, capped at ₹1,800 crore; reimbursement of net State Goods and Services Tax on construction and leasing, subject to ceilings; a ₹1 per unit power discount for 15 years; electricity-duty exemption for 20 years; reimbursement of electrical-infrastructure cost capped at ₹150 crore; and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation road access, estimated ₹4.5 crore, funded by the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Department. Also listed are parking and building-norm flexibility, priority green power, assured water through the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, multi-level diesel-generator permission, facilitation of power trading, and deemed distribution-licence status as per applicable rules. Every crore on that list is an incentive ceiling or an estimated road cost in a government order. It is not money already paid.

The Anakapalli project, Renew AP Green Data Centre Private Limited, is reported at Makavaripalem with a proposed investment of ₹85,200 crore, capacity 1,000 MW, employment potential of 1,880 jobs, and 433.30 acres at the fixed Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation price. Completion is expected within nine years and five months. Incentives as reported include a 10 per cent capital subsidy on machinery and equipment, capped at ₹3,700 crore; reimbursement of net State Goods and Services Tax on capital investment for 10 years, ceiling ₹5,000 crore; a ₹1 per unit power-tariff discount for 15 years, capped at ₹2,500 crore; exemption from transmission and wheeling charges for 20 years, subject to a ₹3,000-crore ceiling; a 20-year electricity-duty exemption, capped at ₹200 crore; and full reimbursement of stamp duty and registration up to ₹5 crore. Floor-space index beyond three, parking-norm relaxation, and Mission Critical Infrastructure consideration are also listed. Roads and a water pipeline are part of land cost; water is at applicable Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation rates. The public card spells the Renew company as both Green Data Center and Green Data Centre. This desk records the spelling variation and will not pick one as a correction of the other.

These orders are distinct from the Monday public interest litigation on Vizag Hyperscale Data Center Park Limited and Simhachalam land, and from any earlier 512 MW factory order. They are not that litigation. They are not that earlier card. Proposed investment and incentive ceilings are not commissioned megawatts.

Visakhapatnam holds Jagnadhapuram in Anandapuram mandal. Anakapalli district holds Makavaripalem. Form B and any poll date are not notified.
