Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday, 24 August 2026, informed available ministers and Members of the Legislative Assembly at the Telangana Secretariat that the Telangana Legislative Assembly session will commence on 7 September 2026. Seven September on this cutting is an Assembly sitting. It is not an election notification. It is not a Form B last date. It is not a Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation or Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation poll date. The State Election Commission has not notified those civic dates.

He directed legislators to complete pending land acquisition for irrigation projects in their constituencies. He warned that projects would not be completed if acquisition lagged. He assured funds for land acquisition, for Relief and Rehabilitation, and for forest clearances. An assurance of funds is a Chief Minister’s instruction on the Monday record.
