Delhi’s flu book is subtype-hard: 2,308 H1N1 inside about 3,000 Influenza A+B — beds not to be denied, H1N1 deaths not written.

Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, said the National Capital Territory had recorded 2,308 H1N1 infections within roughly 3,000 cumulative Influenza A and B cases in 2026. He chaired a review with the Health Department, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the New Delhi Municipal Council and Delhi Cantonment. H1N1 is the predominant subtype this year on that ministerial line. Two thousand three hundred eight is the H1N1 count. About 3,000 is the combined Influenza A and B book. This desk will not print H1N1 as having crossed 3,000, and it will not print 3,000 as an H1N1-only total. The larger book is A plus B. The subtype count sits inside it.

The review covered surveillance, testing, medicines, beds and isolation wards. Patients needing admission, the minister’s line ran, should not be denied beds. Isolation wards ready and a bed-denial warning are preparedness steps. They are not a hospital-wise occupancy table this desk will invent. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is a name locked on the Delhi government file. The facts do not write that she chaired Tuesday’s review. This desk will not invent a second chair.

The same release listed 570 dengue cases and 215 malaria cases with no vector-borne deaths. Zero vector-borne deaths is the release’s vector line. This page will not rewrite that zero as zero H1N1 deaths. Influenza deaths are not on this tip. Their absence is a silence. It is not a mortality finding.

New Delhi is the geography. Form B and any poll date are not notified. Municipal Corporation of Delhi, New Delhi Municipal Council and Delhi Cantonment sat in the same review as the Health Department. That is the civic map of Tuesday’s meeting. It is not a ward-wise case table.

A flu review that publishes a subtype count is still a review. It is not a lockdown order, and it is not an epidemic declaration. Two thousand three hundred eight H1N1 cases are the minister’s 2026 figure. Roughly 3,000 Influenza A and B cases are the envelope. Dengue 570 and malaria 215 travel on the same release with a zero for vector-borne deaths. Influenza is not a vector-borne disease on that line. This desk will not borrow the vector zero for H1N1.

Until a later bulletin revises the 2026 book, the public ledger is a Tuesday review under Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, 2,308 H1N1 cases inside about 3,000 Influenza A and B cases, H1N1 as the predominant subtype, a preparedness sweep of surveillance, testing, medicines, beds and isolation wards, an instruction that admission-need patients not be denied beds, 570 dengue cases, 215 malaria cases, no vector-borne deaths, and a Chief Minister’s name, Rekha Gupta, without an invented chairing. The subtype count is hard. The death book for H1N1 is not written here.
