Lokesh lays the Huliker stone and commissions S144 blade lines for 1,325 megawatts / ₹10,000 crore — company and minister figures, not a commissioned megawatt gazette.

After laying the stone for Suzlon wind-energy projects at Huliker in Kanekal mandal of Rayadurg constituency on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, Education and Information Technology Minister Nara Lokesh said the projects would add 1,325 megawatts, involving an investment of around ₹10,000 crore and creating more than 4,000 direct and indirect jobs. One thousand three hundred and twenty-five megawatts, around ₹10,000 crore and more than 4,000 jobs are minister and company figures. They are not a commissioned-megawatt gazette. This cutting is the Tuesday stone-laying as done. It is not a rewrite of the already-shipped Monday scheduled-inauguration card.

Huliker — also printed Hulikera — Kanekal, Rayadurg and Uravakonda sit in Anantapur district. They are not moved into Kurnool. This desk will not invent a second district tag.

Lokesh said the Anantapur Suzlon unit currently has annual manufacturing capacity of 1,260 megawatts and provides direct employment to around 1,200 people, more than 70 per cent locals. Suzlon has created over 2,000 green jobs across the State, he said. One thousand two hundred direct at the unit and over 2,000 green jobs statewide are Tuesday minister figures on this public account. A Monday company card, labelled only for conflict, put around 2,200 young people at the district footprint. This desk will not merge 1,200, over 2,000 and around 2,200 into one invented jobs book.

Installed capacity is also not one number. Lokesh on Tuesday said Suzlon already has 1,600 megawatts of installed capacity in Andhra Pradesh, while another 2,700 megawatts is under construction. The Monday company card said more than 1,700 megawatts installed. This desk will not merge 1,600 and more than 1,700. Two thousand seven hundred megawatts under construction is new on the Tuesday minister card. It is not written back onto Monday’s scheduled card.

He alleged the wind-energy sector had virtually stalled during 2019–24, with only 6 megawatts of additional capacity. Six megawatts is a political allegation on the 2019–24 line. It is not a Central Electricity Authority table this desk will invent.

The State, he said, is developing 6.5 gigawatts of data-centre capacity; the data-centre ecosystem could create opportunities for nearly 25 gigawatts of renewable capacity. The target is 175 gigawatts of renewable capacity. The government and Suzlon would jointly train 12,000 youths for green-energy jobs, 25 per cent earmarked for women, with skill centres at Uravakonda and Vijayawada. Six-point-five gigawatts, nearly 25 gigawatts, 175 gigawatts, 12,000 and 25 per cent are minister lines. They are not a completed-batch certificate or a commissioned data-centre gazette. Whip Kalava Srinivasulu and Finance Minister Payyavula Kesav were present.

Form B and any poll date are not notified on a stone-laying. Readers who want a commissioned 1,325-megawatt block will not find that gazette here.
