Applications opened Tuesday for the Supreme Court-directed special Teacher Eligibility Test: computer-based test 11–21 October, initial key 24 October, results 15 November.

The School Education Department issued a notification for a special Teacher Eligibility Test for in-service teachers, in accordance with Supreme Court directions. Teachers appointed before 2011 and currently working are required to qualify in the Teacher Eligibility Test. Andhra Pradesh Special Teacher Eligibility Test convenor M. Venkata Krishna Reddy issued the notification on 24 August 2026. The information bulletin and syllabus are on the official School Education website. This cutting follows the Tuesday public account that resolves yesterday’s leftover key-date conflict by printing an initial answer key on 24 October. It does not import a candidate-count figure that is not on this account. It does not print an earlier leftover initial-key date from another desk.

The special test is for in-service teachers in government and local-body schools, the Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society, residential schools, welfare residential schools, Andhra Pradesh Model Schools, private aided and other government schools. Those are the categories on the Tuesday notification card. This desk will not invent a private-unaided column the notification does not lock.

Applications and fee are online from 25 August to 24 September 2026. That window is still open. Live today. Hall tickets from 5 October. The computer-based test runs from 11 to 21 October 2026, morning and afternoon sessions. Twenty-five August to 24 September, 5 October and 11–21 October are the application, hall-ticket and test clocks on this account.

The initial answer key is on 24 October; objections from 25 October to 1 November; the final key on 10 November; final results on 15 November. Twenty-four October is the initial key. Ten November is the final key. This desk will not print an earlier leftover initial-key date. A leftover candidate-count figure that is not on this account will not be imported.

Qualifying is the requirement on the notification. A pass-percentage or a district-wise vacancy table is not on this desk and will not be invented. Form B and any local-body poll date are not notified on an education-test calendar.
