Hyderabad’s notice pool is 12 lakh, two lakh notices are already in hand, and gram sabhas start 27 August — in-person unless the officer lets family stand in.

Hyderabad’s Special Intensive Revision notice pool is more than 12 lakh electors who, or whose relatives, must attend in-person hearings — 5,80,908 unmapped plus 6,72,678 with anomalies. Those two Hyderabad figures sit on more than one Tuesday, 25 August 2026, public account. This cutting is the hearing rule, the Hyderabad split, the served and downloaded counts, and gram sabhas from 27 August. It is not a rewrite of the already-shipped statewide 92,87,577 notice-pool card.

Chief Electoral Officer sources on a Tuesday evening update said more than two lakh voters have been served notices so far, and that 85 lakh notices have already been downloaded by electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers, to be printed and served by booth-level officers with acknowledgment plus a photograph. An earlier same-day pass on that account had 1.50 lakh served and 75 lakh downloaded. This desk uses the evening update. It will not average 1.50 lakh with two lakh, and it will not print 75 lakh as the live download figure.

Celebrities, very important persons, industry personalities, the elderly, outstation electors and those with chronic illness may authorise a family member. Original documents are still required. The electoral registration officer has discretion and may still call a personal hearing. Unmapped-to-2002 electors are to present themselves at the electoral registration officer or assistant electoral registration officer with originals. In-person is the default. A family stand-in is an exception the officer may allow. It is not a blanket waiver.

Guidelines dated 20 August, issued in the name of Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharsan Reddy — another public account of a Monday video conference spells him C. Sudarshan Reddy — require personal appearance with originals. This desk records the spelling conflict and will not pick one silently. Booth-level officers are to record attendance and group photographs. Printed notices are to reach booth-level officers within 48 hours and be served preferably within two days. The district election officer verifies no-mapping and anomaly documents except name and age mismatches. A 10 per cent booth-level-officer-supervisor check is on the same note.

A Monday video conference directed gram sabhas and ward sabhas; Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate names are to be read out, and lists shared with booth-level agents. Additional Chief Electoral Officer Vasam Venkateswar Reddy and Deputy Chief Electoral Officer G.S. Chari sit on that Monday conference card. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Hyderabad District Election Officer R.V. Karnan inspected notice distribution at CIB Quarters, AC Guards, Nampally Assembly constituency, on Monday. An inspection is not a completed city-wide service certificate.

District tables on the Tuesday evening account include Ranga Reddy anomalies of 5,60,201 and Medchal-Malkajgiri unmapped of 10,72,599. Those two figures are on the opened cards. This desk will not invent the rest of a top-five list the lock does not name.

Draft-day statewide numbers restated on Tuesday, not revised on 25 August, remain 3,38,26,448 total; 2,64,87,213 enumeration forms; 73,39,235 Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate; 60,50,918 anomalies; 32,36,659 unmapped to 2002. Claims run to 16 September 2026. Notice and disposal run to 15 October. The final roll is 19 October. Sixteen September and 19 October are Election Commission roll dates. They are not a local-body Form B last date.

Form B has not been notified. The Telangana State Election Commission has not notified Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation or Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation poll dates. Gram sabhas from 27 August are for anomaly rectification. They are not a civic nomination clock. Seven September remains the already-shipped Assembly session date. It is not an election notification.

Hyderabad and the statewide booth-level-officer–electoral-registration-officer hearing grid are the geography.
